Took a while and I was getting really tired towards the end so I rushed it but hey, its Sam Vimes from The Watch and he’s done or something. I like Vimes, he’s like if Clint Eastwood and Vin Diesel had a lovechild, and he is one of my favourite characters from the Discworld series, plus a few people were badgering me for a picture of him or something maybe.

Thanks to everyone who watched me paint this on livestream today, it was heaps of fun and yeah, lets do it again sometime when its not 1 am for everyone in the northern hemisphere.

A Meeting of Stares
This sprung from a conversation with a fellow Discworld fan - Sam Vimes and Granny Weatherwax should totally meet - except the Disc could possibly implode should these two ever cross paths.
Personal headcanon displayed above: Granny and Sam have the same eye colour.
PS: That dragon was the best to draw.
PPS: it is not Erroll, it’s just some poor dragon from Sybil’s kennel

Vimes carefully lifted the top of the bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich and smiled inwardly. Good old Cheery. She knew what a Vimes BLT was all about. It was about having to lift up quite a lot of crispy bacon before you found the miserable skulking vegetables. You might never notice them at all.

so this is a reaction gif I just made
I don’t care if it’s immodest or something when I say it’s my favourite and I’m going to use it on EVERYTHING
because Sam Vimes

EDIT: to clarify, YES USE THE GIF THAT’S WHAT IT’S FOR

If you’re a Discworld fan and can’t tell what’s in the lower frame, I’m not sure we’ve been reading the same books.
